There’s Nothing I Can Say to You by Leah Duff

You’re a stranger I’m related to
A whisper in the air
When I hear from you its careless
I don’t even see you there
I lose track of what’s important
Forget what brought me here
What’s the point of holding onto
Something which only brings fear
And then one day you speak with me
You ask me something new
‘I haven’t seen you in years,
Could I see you in a few?’
How does one respond to that,
How can I decide?
I’ll just turn my cheek and wait
With whom shall I confide?
Soon enough I’ve given up
There’s nothing I can do
The answer’s all but left my head
There’s nothing I can say to you
